Are you and your practice renewal-ready? VDS renewals for 2024 open on Wednesday 01 November 2023! Member practices can apply to renew their Professional Indemnity Insurance and RVNs can apply to renew their cover for Representation costs in Criminal and Disciplinary proceedings for 2024 either online at www.thevds.co.uk or on paper. Last year 86.5% of members applied to renew online and, in our bid to reduce our paper usage, we'd encourage even more members to go online this year - it's quicker and simpler!

In the meantime, to help you get started, there are three simple steps we'd encourage Super Users to take now to make sure your practice is ready to apply to renew from 01 November 2023.

1. Check your own details and, if applicable, your personnel details are up to date, including Vet and RVN names, declared working time, species-specific risk groups and start and finish dates. Be sure to include personnel you know are leaving or joining in the remainder of 2023.
2. Make sure that you or your practice Super User will be available during November or December when we will be accepting renewals applications for 2024. If your Super User has left or is off work, please contact us ASAP by calling our Membership Department on +44 (0) 1565 652737 to set up a new one.

Invoice Payment

During our renewals process, you can apply to renew your policy online at any time before midnight on Sunday 31 December 2023, but you do not need to make payment for the renewal premium until Sunday 31 December 2023 at the latest.
