Learning to Lead - Birmingham

Learning to Lead - Birmingham

14 March 2018

09:00 to 15:30

Becoming a leader or a manager presents its own unique set of challenges in the veterinary profession and sometimes requires us to wear several hats. This full day interactive workshop will help you to motivate and engage your team members, deal with poor performance effectively and identify and use your natural strengths to lead and manage more effectively.

What will I learn?

By the end of the programme, you’ll learn how to:

  • become a more effective leader, manager and communicator
  • modify your language and behaviour to make managing others easier
  • use DISC behavioural profiling effectively within your practice
  • recruit and retain the right people for your team
  • keep your team members motivated and engaged
  • feel confident about having challenging conversations and making them effective.

Who is this course for?

Learning to Lead is suitable for any veterinary professional in a leadership or management role such as practice managers, head nurses, partners, clinical directors, reception managers and team leaders.
