About the AGM

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Tuesday 22 September 2026 at 2:15pm at the VDS offices in Knutsford. You can take part by voting online using our secure voting platform. 

You’ll be voting on the election and re-election of Board members and how we govern the Society. Your vote helps make sure we're doing the right thing for our members across the UK and ROI. 

Help us support Vetlife and the Irish Veterinary Benevolent Fund (IVBF)

For every member who votes, we will donate:

Our goal is to raise £1000.

Every vote helps us support these charities and the vital work they do for the veterinary community.

How to vote

One simple step

In August 2026, eligible members will receive an email or letter from Mi-Voice with:

  • a link to view AGM documents
  • a unique voting code
  • access to vote online

You can complete everything in a few clicks.

Voting opens the week commencing 10 August 2026 and closes on 18 September 2026.

Voting online

We use a secure online voting system run by Mi-Voice, an independent election services provider.

They support many membership organisations and ensure voting is safe and confidential.

Attend the AGM

Members are welcome to attend the AGM in person at the VDS offices, 5 Haig Court, Parkgate Industrial Estate, Knutsford, WA16 8XZ.

You don't need to attend to take part. You can vote in advance using your voting link.
