As a mutual, we exist solely for the benefit of our members - and you can have a direct say in how we run the Society. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is your opportunity to influence our plans and activities, including electing directors, approving the Annual Report and Financial Statements or agreeing on any changes to our Articles of Association. For the first time in our history, members will be able to vote online at the 2025 AGM, making it quicker, easier, and more secure to have your say. With the introduction of a secure digital voting platform, you’ll be able to cast your vote from anywhere, at a time that suits you. We’re committed to making it as simple as possible for all members to take part in the AGM:Have Your Say at the 2025 AGM
Making Participation Easier Than Ever
What to Expect
NEW Online Voting - Members will receive a unique voting ID to cast their vote online via the secure platform, ensuring efficiency, confidentiality, and ease of use.
Email & Postal Options - Members who prefer traditional voting can still cast their votes via email or post.
Form of Proxy - You can vote by completing a Form of Proxy, allowing you to appoint the Chair of the meeting or a fellow veterinary or veterinary nurse member to vote on your behalf.
Ahead of the AGM, we’ll provide everything you need to make an informed decision, including making all documents available on our website in advance. For every vote cast, we’ll donate £1 to Vetlife or €1.20 to the IVBF, supporting these vital charities. By participating in the AGM, whether by voting online or joining the live stream, you’re ensuring your voice is heard and helping to shape the future of your Society. Stay tuned for further updates and detailed communications in the coming months. Together, we can make a meaningful impact.Your Vote Makes a Difference
